Definition
- Instanced Map
- A map that is generated when a player enters it, and is eventually removed from the system when the player leaves it (by completion, disconnection, or simply leaving).
Examples
- Mission maps that a player enters through a door in a static zone.
- Supergroup bases.
- Note that though supergroup bases are treated as instanced maps (a base is only "generated" when a character is standing in it), their contents are obviously saved between visits.
